Forum RPs. Are they dead?

It's been quite a while since I've had a proper forum rp and even longer since I've had such capable players to rp with. My question to you all is this. Is forum rp dead? If not, then I'd like to use this thread to brainstorm some potential forum rp ideas for these lovable ponies of ours.

I've been on-and-off RPC for the past few years, and have had the pleasure of doing Forum RP in the meantime. Personally, I prefer forum to chat, due to the ability to better think out a post, and not feel rushed while writing.

I don't believe it is dead, and I'd be more than happy to start one here.

I've dropped out of the forum RP scene, but I happen to know it's very much alive.

I wouldn't mind. Maybe I'll make a cute RP about me going on a journey to find the biggest and brightest gem in Equestria...not saying what it's for, but hey, anypony wanna tag along?

Most certainly not dead. Do keep in mind however it's a big jump from IM.
